Rafting Guide and Safety Kayaker
He has a certification as a National guide and his specializations in whitewater and safety kayaking granted by the IRF (International Rafting Federation). “Official International Sports Federation for National Rafting Organizations Worldwide”. They have allowed their assistance in Rafting and kayaking activities for the company.
WILSON CAICEDO SILVA
Rock climbing Guide
His University studies in the career of physical education and the practice of adventure sports in the city of Baños de Agua Santa, a combination of the day to day, our young Wilson is an expert in rock climbing guidance and the practice of paragliding.
JORGE NÚÑEZ HIDALGO
Mountain Guide
He is the most experienced in Ambaturismo, with a wide experience for more than 25 years they have accredited him as a high mountain instructor in Ecuador. Its National and International certifications such as ASEGUIM, AGUITUN and UIAGM. They are to be highlighted in his extensive professional career. High mountains and rock climbing are the activities to participate with the company.
SANTIAGO CAISABANDA SÁNCHEZ
Tour Guide and Ambaturismo CEO
Activities such as rock climbing, mountain walks, guidance in the Amazon are part of his support with the company.
His third level degree in the Tourism and Hospitality career; as well as the accreditation of him to National Guide they assign him as CEO of Ambaturismo.
RICARDO SÁNCHEZ TAMAYO
Tour Guide and Explorsierra CEO
His third level degree in the Ecotourism career as well as his certification as a National guide, Ricardo is a reference collaborator between the Ambaturismo company and the Explorsierra operator. Activities such as paragliding and rock climbing are his participation with the company.

An amazing Cotopaxi tour! Santiago was an amazing guide and we loved this tour. The views and the hike were spectacular. We were lucky with the weather and had amazing views of all of Cotopaxi. Santiago took his time with us hiking at elevation. His truck that we lovingly named Bronco handled the drive with tough terrain perfectly. We saw lots of wild horses and even a few foxes. We had an amazing time a a great I would recommend any wanting to do a day trip to Cotopaxi.

Amazing tours in great company! We did three trips with Santiago and is great team throughout the last month. Santiago is an outstanding tour guide and organizer knowing his territory very well. We climbed to the Laguna of Carihuairazo, hiked the El Altar and we our way to the Lagunas of Ozogoche. All trips were unique, very nice and perfectly organized - from the pickup until the drop-off. We would definitely join Ambaturismo again but unfortunately we have to move on.

Amazing Days With the Best Tour Company! Oh boy where do I begin, Santi and his family were amazing. Santiago’s mama picked up from the Quito airport at 1:00 am and drove us all the way to Baños which took 3 hours so we didn’t even get to our hotel until 4:00 am. We had an action packed vacation (3 adults and 2 children). I would recommend only this company for your stay in Ecuador! ! The hospitality of this company far exceeded our expectations!
