Jeep Rental

Route 1: Pailón del diablo

Distance: 19 kilometers from Baños to Pailón del Diablo

Duration: Approximately 3 hours (not including optional stops)

Stops:

  • Agoyán Waterfall (20 minutes): Admire the beauty of this waterfall and capture memorable photos. You can make a short stop to rest and enjoy the scenery.
  • Mega Aventura Park Río Blanco (optional): If you are looking for adventure, this park offers activities such as walking on the glass bridge, crossing the Tibetan bridge, ziplining, and experiencing the thrill of the Tarzan jump.
  • Manto de la Novia Waterfall: Be captivated by the majesty of this waterfall. Cross the captivating Pastaza River on a cable car and enjoy panoramic views from the viewpoints located above the river.
  • Río Verde Parish (17 km): Take a break in this picturesque town and prepare for the next adventure.
  • Pailón del Diablo: Enter the earth and discover this impressive waterfall that falls into a cave. Admire the force of the water and feel the adrenaline in this magical place.

Optional stops:

  • Machay Community: If you have extra time, continue to Machay, the last waterfall on the route. Here, you will have the opportunity to walk to the base of the waterfall and cool off in its crystal-clear waters.

Return:

At the end of your visit to the Machay Waterfall (or Pailón del Diablo, if you do not want to continue), you can return to Río Verde, where you will find various local restaurants to sample the region's typical cuisine.

 

Route 2: The tree House

Distance: 15 kilometers from Baños to the tree house

Duration: Approximately 3 hours (not including optional stops)

Stops:

  • The Tree House (30 minutes): A unique structure that will allow you to observe the landscape from a different perspective. Enjoy exciting activities such as the "Swing of the End of the World", or the "Zipline", which will allow you to glide through the air.
  • The Condor's Flight: A giant swing that will make you feel like you are flying over the Andes. Swing on a giant swing suspended over a canyon, 800 meters high, and enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Ecuadorian Andes.
  • The Hand of Pachamama: The Manos de la Pachamama are not only an impressive work of art, but also a natural viewpoint that offers unparalleled panoramic views of Baños and its surroundings.
  • Swing Fantasías de Volar and el Diamante (optional): The largest swing in Baños, with the best panoramic views. Both offer exciting and adrenaline-filled experiences for those seeking adventure and fun.

  • Animal Park: A wildlife refuge located on the slopes of the majestic Tungurahua volcano, in Banos de Agua Santa. This theme park invites you to live a unique experience of connection with nature and the animals of the Andean region of Ecuador.
